Target x Clean Beauty Giveaway!
Guys, this is my first ever giveaway! I’ve wanted to host a giveaway for a while now, and I decided to just buckle down and DO IT. I’ve been meaning to check out the clean beauty section at Target, and I was finally able to spend some free time ALONE (which literally doesn’t exist anymore with a toddler) at my local store. I found some gems and I’m going to gift a few to one lucky follower!
Head over to my Instagram and make sure you’re following me. You can find the giveaway post there! There are only 3 rules - follow me on insta, like my giveaway post, and make sure you’re signed up for my email list. THAT’S IT! More details on each product below.
This eye serum is seriously amazing. Not only is aloe the first ingredient (meaning it’s in the formula at the highest concentration), but it’s quickly followed by hyaluronic acid, which skin loves. Beyond all of the amazing fruit extracts, it focuses on blue tansy and arnica to help with inflammation and improve the appearance of puffiness. Lastly, this brand nailed it with the component - when developing eye creams and serums, I’ll always opt for a metalized applicator to give a little extra help de-puffing. Acure’s brand claims the following:
100% vegan. 0% pretentious.
Paraben free, Sulfate free, Mineral oil free, Petrolatum free, Formaldehyde free, Cruelty free
Macabeet is your multitasking BFF. I’ve been following along with cocokind’s journey for a few years now and this was the first product I purchased from the brand. It gives a lovey subtle tint to lips and cheeks while hydrating the shit out of your skin. Not only does the beet root give the perfect tint, but it’s also an antioxidant powerhouse, fighting free radical damage. Cocokind claims the following:
superfood based skincare. beauty for all. clean and conscious. cruelty free.
This brand is new to me! If I’m being honest, I’m assuming it’s a Target incubator brand, because of it’s exclusivity and prominence in the store (smaller brands usually don’t have so much shelf real estate). I went out on a limb and tried a few of their products, and this mask takes the cake. It left my skin feeling super hydrated and not tight or dry at all. Aloe is apparently the hero for hydration claims, but this product uses a plant-based collagen alternative to smooth texture, increase elasticity, and “bind moisture to the skin” to prevent moisture loss. Versed follows along with the 1,300 EU banned ingredients and make claims, which include:
VEGAN & CRUELTY-FREE
NO ARTIFICIAL FRAGRANCE
NO ARTIFICIAL COLORS
NO SULFATES (SLS/SLES)
NO ADDED PHTHALATES
NO MINERAL OIL
NO NPE (NONYLPHENOL ETHOXYLATE)
NO BHA (BUTYLATED HYDROXYANISOLE)
NO BHT (BUTYLATED HYDROXYTOLUENE)
NO CHEMICAL SUNSCREEN
Vital Proteins has been a go-to for me for years now, and I was so excited when they launched their beauty shots. Strawberry & Lemon is, by far my favorite flavor and this baby touts 7g collagen peptides, 60mg of hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and biotin. I don’t take this every day, but it’s always a nice treat. The ingredient list is short and straight-to-the-point, which I am all about.
That’s it, my loves! Be sure to enter the giveaway and GOOD LUCK!
